January - February 06

With a very cold winter almost behind us we are looking forward to springtime and an increase in the temperature. We have been investing in some young people still living on the streets during the very cold and frosty winter weather. Feeding, clothing and listening to their worries. Several single parents with their very young children are living on the streets and we have been able to provide them with food supplies and medicines for their children. Please continue to pray that these young lives would have the protection of our Lord surround them in these very difficult circumstances.
Thank you to our visitors over the past months for their love, input & support as they work with us at Oaza. Colin & Andy from Cornwall UK, Heidi from USA & Dusty who is working with us for 4 months from the USA. You are all a blessing and we pray you are blessed as you have blessed us.
Special Thanks
Our special thanks to the firemen from the Midlands, UK who came to check the arrangements were ready to begin the work on the new ‘Shalom’ house.
2006 Mini Bus Appeal
Having to make three trips to and from church each week is very
time consuming. We would like to buy a new/second hand minibus to enable us to have trips out with groups of children and also help with the day-to-day transportation for the Oaza family.
Estimated cost to follow – Watch this space.
In the meantime, if you would like to arrange fund-raiser, sponsored event for this specific project please contact Susan who can produce official Oaza sponsor forms etc.
Prayer Points
- Laura as she continues University studies

Oaza – 10 Year Celebration !
This summer will be 10 years since the Oaza Project began and we want to celebrate all that God has done in the lives of each of the children who have been with Oaza during the past 10 years.
Watch this space for details.
We at Oaza are very excited at the way things are moving forward in our physical and spiritual provision for all the children and would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your involvement in all we do. We are aware that without your love, care, financial, spiritual and prayer support the investment in these young lives would be lacking.
Thank you – you are indeed a blessing to us as our supporters.
“As for me and my house – We will serve the Lord”
