We would like to thank you all for your involvement, love and support for the Oaza Project during this busy year. There have been many changes as we have settled children into their family homes alongside the upheaval of major building work at the homes. Now is the time to settle into routines and prepare for the Christmas period.

Celebrations

We have celebrated the following birthdays:

  • Nando (6)
  • Hannah (5)
  • Rebeckah (3)

They have all enjoyed their special days.

A special thanks to our teams this past two months. Team from Sicily Italy, who made Casa Bucuriei a happier place by paintings of Winnie-The-Pooh & Co on the walls. The Free Methodist Missions building Team from the UK and also Simon Ashby’s team from Amblecote Christian Centre who worked hard at completing the extension. Thanks for all your hard work and we bless you for the speedy progress made at Casa Bucuriei.

At the end of August just after the last newsletter had gone to press Laura was approached by the local centre for minors and asked if she could take 3 new children – all siblings. Praise God with the extension on target for completion she was able to take these three youngsters in and therefore extend to them love and hope for a better future.

Raul (3), Raluca (5) and Alin (6) are now part of the family at Casa Bucuriei. Please continue to pray for them as they adjust to life in a family home. The transition has been difficult – please pray for the staff as they work with these young ones.

Praise Points

  • Finances & Work team for the extension at Petru Maior – work almost complete
  • Mike & Carla & the girls have arrived safely from the USA & are settling in well
  • God’s hand upon children’s lives as they returned to school

Mike & Carla

“We are delighted to be in Arad at this time. As you know we came alongside Laura to parent treasure house children. We have been greatly by the teams we have had and would like to ask for your prayers. Our transition proves to be more difficult than we thought especially as we are unable to live in the house with the children for lack of room. With God’s help we plan to start an extension on treasure house in the spring. We look forward to knowing you & co-working with you.”

Laura and her Car

Laura has now become a ‘grandma’. Carmen & Ciobi are pleased & proud to announce the arrival of their son Ernest Gabriel (above) – our first Oaza baby.

Laura’s car has now become very unreliable. As you can imagine attending meetings via trams is not ideal with winter conditions approaching. After trading in we are still short 4000 Euro’s in order to get her back on the road with a reliable car. If you could help with this please contact us.

Thank You

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your love, care and support and ask that you continue to stand with us in prayer for the children’s individual needs as well as collectively for the Oaza Project. Many blessings, may God richly bless you,

Laura & the Oaza Team
