Welcome to our summer update, it is good to be in contact after a
very hot and hectic but enjoyable summer.

Celebrations

We have celebrated several birthdays these past months:

• Noemi (18),
• Arnoldt (17)
• Romi & Armando (15)
• Bogdan (8)

Each received gifts and enjoyed their special days.

We would like to thank all our volunteers over this summer period. This summer has been a tremendous time both at camp and home with a host of fantastic teams from the UK and USA. A big thank you to all the teams; Bolton, Michigan, Preston, Rochdale and Rotherham, we appreciate your hard work, care and support for the Oaza team and children. It was also great to have Susan with us again this summer. Thank You Everyone

It was awesome to see some of our children respond to the gospel and move forward in their personal relationships with the Lord during camp this year. The children have once again enjoyed camp and all the excitement that family holidays bring as well as experiencing more of the Lord, bringing them closer to Him.
Watching changes in children’s lives and answering their in-depth questions about sin, talking about their desire to be baptised and witnessing daily bible reading is truly a joy to see.

Community Project

Our first community project, play park, was completed in July thanks to Bolton AOG Church and a team of 17 headed by Sue Stokes who raised the funds for materials and came to build the park on our community field.

It is a great asset to all the community and has proved to be a meeting point for many of the children and families in the surrounding area.

Prayer Points

• Staff Re-Training and finances to accomplish this
• New staff with a loving heart for the children to be employed
• Conformations & Approvals of the paperwork for Oaza’s license to practice
• Funding for Monthly Budget needs as inflation increases
• All the Children as they go back to school and for Bobo as she starts her first year
• Laura as she returns to University to continue her studies

The list of those willing to prayer for specific requests is now up and running and we look forward to using this as a tool for essential prayer support for the Oaza Project and Laura as she heads the project in these days of change. Thank You

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your love, care and support and ask that you continue to stand with us in prayer for the children’s individual needs as well as collectively for the Oaza Project. There have been many changes throughout the summer with various volunteer groups standing in the gap to allow our staff to have their holidays and now is the time when the children need to re-adjust to staff, school and the practicalities of everyday family life.

The economy of Romania continues to change week by week and prices rise daily for our basic requirements, it would be a real blessing if you would consider giving a regular monthly gift for expenditure in order for us to stabilise our monthly budgeting.
