Oaza - For The Protection of Street Children

Firstly, may I apologise for the delay in this update, it feels like I have been continuously on the run for the past few months. May I take this opportunity to say thank you to all those who I met with whilst in the UK for your love and generosity to me and the children, I was both blessed and encouraged, ready to come back and continue with all that needs to be done.

It felt that springtime arrived early this year and now it feels that the summer has come with an increase in the temperature, and the sun shining brightly.

Thank you to our visitors over the past months for your love, input & support as you work with us at Oaza. It was good to have Susan (Rochdale) with us again with a new skill to teach our children (jewellery making) Thanks.

A special thank you to the Bolton Team from The Bridge church. You have truly been a blessing to the children during their activities and to us as you worked to complete the fence, sewer and garden at the House of Joy as well as the cleaning and decorating at the other homes. We pray you are blessed as much as you have blessed more and us.

Prayer Points

• Laura as she continues University studies
• Funding for Monthly Budget needs as inflation continues to increase
• Building work at the new Shalom house to continue & teams & funding to run smoothly and progress.
• Alin (7) to have a speedy recovery from his surgery.
• All our staff, patience, strength & grace as they continue to work daily with all the Oaza children & nurture them.

• Provision of work teams for new ‘Shalom‘ house
• Laura has now received her new vehicle documents and driving license after the theft of her purse last year! Praise God!
• The progression of the work on the new ‘Shalom’ house
• Provision of teams to work with the children throughout the summer & Children’s Camp

Advance Notice – Oaza 10 Year Celebration

This summer will be 10 years since the Oaza Project began and we want to celebrate all that God has done in the lives of each of the children who have been with Oaza during the past 10 years. We will get the date to you ASAP.
